Asia-pacific is the fastest growing region as the industrial center of the world.
At the same time, the serious transport challenges such as traffic accidents, traffic jam and air pollution are shared among us. Moreover, the following social challenges are becoming serious, such as population structure change like declining birthrate and aging, rapid urbanization, and invigorating local municipalities. Towards realizing a society where mobility helps resolve the social challenges in addition to resolve the transport challenges, various actions utilizing ITS technologies and policies to promote the actions will be discussed with the examples.
